The intrepid explorers started out later today, having spent time doing bookings for
trips to Napa etc. Big wine tasting ahead! We walked down Octavia, stopping off at
Lafayette Park for a rest from BIG hills, and on to Pacific Heights, meandered through
looking at lovely Victorian houses, then continued down till we found Ho's Chinese
restaurant where we stopped for dumplings, prawns, beef with asparagus, scallops, snow
peas, water chestnuts, and wine! What pigs we are. Replete and rested we continued down to
Fisherman's Wharf, wandered a while, then on to Gherardelli Square for coffee and window
shopping at gorgeous designer clothes etc. We then queued for 45 mins for a cable car to
Union Square and looked around Macey's, the view at the top is pretty good. We walked
again from there back up to Sutter, then down Van Ness to Harris's for some lovely steak's
and wine. Being very tired puppies we hailed a cab halfway back, I think we walked almost
halfway around S.F. today! retiring now with brandy and Andrew for big
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ's. Furbey's name seems to be Toto and he sends his love to all who
are going to become his friends.
