Monday 13 November Nayland Weekend 2006

We departed at 10am on the dot as requested and went into Colchester for a wander. We walked around the town centre which has some lovely quaint old buildings. Eventually found the old castle (now a museum) which we decided not to go in due to several parties of children queuing. But it's here if you want to visit it. Found Strada an Italian restaurant we'd tried and enjoyed very much in London. Had excellent lunch there and set off for home immediately afterwards. It was a wonderful weekend, which I'd be happy to repeat in the summer.
