Sunday 25 March Galley Head Lighthouse

I was up very early as my stomach was bad, too much cake I think. Sat reading and drinking coffee, then Nina and I played with my Nintendo DS doing some Brain Training. Later most of us went over to Baltimore, Nina elected to stay and relax at the lighthouse. Baltimore is rather pretty, rows of brightly painted houses and a harbour. We lunched at La Jolie Brise wood smoked pizzas, Nick and I both had Goat Island pizza, goat's cheese and fresh tomato, delicious. Walked around the harbour and found a ferry trip to Cape Clear Island, we could whale watch, if any appeared. We will go for a day later this week. Walked along to front and found more seals in the bay here, watched them for a while before they dived and disappeared from view. We headed back via more shops as the wine and beer were almost gone. Jenny cooked spaghetti bolognaise with garlic bread for dinner in the evening. It was delicious. There are a group of people playing Munchkin around the kitchen table, I can't get the hang of it, Nina retires from the game, she couldn't get into it either. Lazed in front of the fire reading, then played Mah-jong on the DS for a while before bed. I love just relaxing and reading in front of the fire at Landmarks, no TV to disturb the peace and tranquillity.
