Woke up to the rain beating down, Andrew turned over for more sleep. I got up to find Jennifer and Bernie about to go to the pub for a fry up breakfast, so I joined them - excellent breakfast, I should have tried this earlier on in the week! It is so misty that we couldn't even see the field across from us!

This sets the course for the day, we lazed around reading etc. Pub again for lunch, and a few beers. The rain poured torrentially and relentlessly all day!

Nick taught Toby and Jack to play Rummy, and the 3 of them end up roughing and tumbling down WWF style wrestling till the noise drives the rest of us to the pub again for some peace and quiet, Kids!!!

Another meal and beer there is always a good atmosphere at the pub, the staff there live on the island permanently and turn there hands to any job it seems. Some do the farming others cook, bar tend, clean the rented accommodation and make it ready for the next holiday crowd, the list is endless. They all seem to enjoy working on the island. Our usual evening of drinking, smoking and card games - will we all be alcoholic card sharps on leaving Lundy?
