A really lazy day today, it is Sunday and not much is open, we have
discovered that all shops shut for siesta time Most restaurants don't open till
evening so lunch places are limited, and even more so on Sundays, even the
supermarkets are closed all day.
We ate a cafe on the Balcon de Europa, the
strangest paella for Andrew as it was made with spaghetti instead of rice. Back
to the villa for siesta time. We ventured out at around 8pm. and drove to the
lovely aqueduct we saw on the way to the caves to take some photo's and just
look at the view, an artist was down in the gulley painting it. On to the caves
then to take some photo's of the stone sculpture of the boys as it is lovely,
but as I said earlier Andrew ran out of batteries so we didn't get
a photo of it. Afterwards we headed back into Nerja for dinner at Haveli
Indian restaurant, good food and wine and some lovely opera arias to accompany
them, a really enjoyable evening. Back at the villa we drank some more wine and
to bed.
