This morning and part of the afternoon is spent on trying to organizing stuff, we have booked a day trip to Gibraltar, by coach, with a million grannies no doubt. We discovered that we need to book a day pass to go to the National Monument in Granada. Only 7000 people per day are allowed into The Alhambra so you have to book in advance then collect your tickets at the said time or forfeit them. Finally booked on the internet for Thursday 16th - sorted! We also have had amazing difficulty in booking a room in Barcelona for 5 nights, eventually done through a travel agency, real hassle but will now stay in the area we wanted called La Ramblas, walking distance for all the things we want to see in Barcelona - cool.

Checked mail and discovered one from Gracie, he is home from Australia on 31st. 2 days after our flight back I collect him from Heathrow - it's been a long year, missed him so much, I can't wait to see him! So excited!!!

We wandered around the shops and bought two baby speakers for our walkman, so listening to U2 while typing diary - so good to have our own music. Ate at El Portico a wonderful Italian restaurant, sat out on the rooftop terrace eating bruchetta and salmon pasta, Lan rioja, best wine here so far.. Watched birds flying towards the sunset and their wings turning gold and copper in the sun - ethereal!
