Woken up at 9.30am by dogs fighting again. We have a massage each booked for 10am. so dash about getting ready. Massage ladies appear at 11.15am and we have an hour of pampering for around 3 each.
Went for a walk afterwards, this is a free day again. Andrew gets some tie dye trousers, cool Ill turn him into a hippie yet! All met for lunch at KB and arrange to go to Lonely Beach at 2pm. The runs strike again and I am forced to stay in loo. Later I decide to have a swim, the water looks lovely and the salt will help my bites, sea is warm but the beach here is quite stony, feet get hurt several times by sharp jagged rocks.
Jon and Pete return first, they walked back as got fed up waiting for a taxi, they call me as I'm heading back to the chalet. The others wished they'd walked too. Their return was on the roof of a construction lorry, ducking to avoid the electric cables! Andrew has bought me a prezzie, a lovely elephant patterned sarong. Lonely Beach is as its name, no cafes, bars or shops, just chalets with no electricity or running water, a bit too basic for us. The beach however is gorgeous, they all say I will love it, we'll spend some time there later.
We meet for dinner at 7.30pm missed the sunset, but the afterglow is stunning. Dinner is really good again as are the cocktails, the very sullen waiter is on duty again tonight. I comment to Pete that Barry would say he has "A face like a smacked arse!" Pete says he would be right too. The name sticks. Go to the Deep Blue Sea bar, but cocktails are flat and frankly disappointing. We move on to the Joker which is much better.
